One hand that’s making a fist has six fingers.
on the section by Chrissy Fellmeth, the hand that is punching has 5 fingers and a thumb
I believe not. This is the flat of the hand. After the last finger there is a skin fold.

Byrne Hogarth’s Dynamic Figure Drawing is totally awesome, no art teacher will ever help you to draw deep perspective action figures like that book will.
Personally, I find feet way harder to draw, but the levels of stylization are incredible reference in themselves.
I’m extremely inspired together with your writing talents and also with the structure on your blog. Is that this a paid subject or did you modify it your self? Anyway stay up the nice high quality writing, it’s rare to see a nice blog like this one today..

For what it’s worth, the second Disneyesque hand sheet, below Les Clark’s, is actually by Preston Blair if you care to give proper attribution, from his book “Animation” published by Walter Foster, 1960.

I still have this book in the loft,it was a favourite of mine growing up and taught me to draw.
